Jenny - Senior Veterinary and
Surgical Technician
Meet our senior Veterinary Technician, Jenny. She started
working with Dr. Land in September of 1995! Jenny is Dr.
Land's right-hand woman. She has trained every technician here
and has given them the knowledge they need to make this clinic run
as well as it does. Jenny is our lead surgical
assistant, as well, here. She lives in
Forsyth County with her husband Chad and their two boys. She
has a special place in her heart for Jack Russell Terriers.

Michelle - Veterinary and Surgical
Technician
Meet our other surgical assistant, Michelle. She
started working here at Pet Vet in April of 1999. She resides
in Forsyth County with her husband Jamie. She enjoys the
outdoors, riding horses, and riding motorcycles. Her favorite
breed of dog is the English Bulldog.
Laura Jean - Veterinary Technician
I have been working with Dr. Land since August of
2003. I am one of her technicians, but I also assist the
surgery technicians in surgery, help out on the front desk, and work
on the computers! You can say I am a jack of all trades!
I live in Dawsonville with my husband Matthew and our son, Hayden.
We have four dogs and five cats. We also have two giant
"Oscar" fish. They are about 12 inches long! My family
and I love to go fishing and camping. We also love to play
with our dogs outside near our pond.
Andrea - Veterinary Technician
Andrea has worked at Pet Vet since June of 2005.
Her current position with us is Veterinary Assistant. She is
from Dahlonega. She enjoys riding motorcycles with her
husband, spending time with her family, and church on Sundays.
Lauren - Veterinary Technician
Lauren has worked at Pet Vet since October of 2007.
Her
current position is Veterinary Assistant. She enjoys shopping,
hanging out with friends and spending time with family. She is
originally
from Savannah, but currently lives in Cumming.
Dana - Veterinary Technician
Dana was hired at Pet Vet as a Veterinary Assistant in January
of 2008. She has been married to her husband Larry for twenty years
and they have two children, Lauren and Todd. She has been involved
in animal rescue for about 15 years. She loves all animals,
but has a weakness for Shih-tzu's. They melt her heart.
Her
hobbies include gardening and decorating.
Nikki -
Veterinary Technician
Nikki started working here August of 2008. She works in the
kennels and helps in surgery. She loves working at Pet Vet because
the environment is great! She will be going to college in the summer
of 2009 to become a Veterinary Technician, and she is super excited.
She loves to read and hang out with her boyfriend and friends.
She
tries to have fun in whatever she is doing. She was born in the
Philippines and moved to Cumming when she was two years old.
She is half Filipino and half Irish. She has four brothers, two
older and two younger.
Office
Terrye, Practice Manager
Terrye has been with Pet Vet since September of 2001.
Her position as Practice Manager doesn't mean that she is "practicing"
to be a manager. It means that she manages our veterinary
"practice". Basically, she shuffles a lot of paperwork and deals
with all the problems associated with running any business.
She has been married to the same man, her high school sweetheart, for
over twenty-five years. They have one son, Levi, who is in
college. They also have three other boys; Otto, Ozzie, & Scooter.
They are their lap warmers, otherwise known as cats! Terrye has
five laying hens and a rooster named Jack. She plants and harvests
a large vegetable garden every summer, as well as, fruit trees,
grapes, and numerous berry vines. She is an avid hunter and
fisher and really enjoys any activity that gets her outdoors.
LaShay - Doctor's and Practice Manager's Assistant
LaShay started at Pet Vet in 2006, and after a brief absence,
started working again in September of 2008. She assists all of
the Doctors and the Office Manager. She helps anywhere she is
needed. She may not have any children of her own, but she helps out
with all of the children of Pet Vet. She enjoys the Coach
line of purses and different items. She has a little kitty that
came in as a sick, charity case. LaShay took her under her wing and
she is all better and growing stronger and stronger every day!

at heart. Animals have their own personalities that she just
loves!
